Southern reedbuck – Shoulder mount/stuffed head – Redunca Arundinum

The southern reedbuck belongs to the Bovidae and the subfamily Reduncinae. This herbivore is the largest Redunca.

It measures about 90 cm for a weight from 40 to 80 kg, males are generaly bigger and fatter than females.

Its coat is thin and almost woolly, the male’s horns are curved and can reach 45 cm.
